The designer's thoughtsFrom the outset, the intention was to create a home that felt like a quiet retreat from the everyday.
The ensuite bedroom became a key focus. It was treated almost like a self-contained suite, incorporating a small pantry and a table beside the wardrobe to give it a sense of independence and comfort.
The overall palette of white and blue, paired with subtle nautical references, was kept light and restrained—enough to evoke a breezy, Mediterranean feel without becoming overly thematic.
As the layout opens up, the living, dining, and balcony areas flow into one another. Large sliding windows bring in natural light, allowing the space to feel expansive and connected. The consistency in material and colour helps tie everything together in a way that feels calm and cohesive.
