Your Questions, Answered.

  • We specialise in designer residential interiors, across a range of property types. Each project is approached with a focus on timeless design, contemporary vision, and lifestyle integration.

  • We approach each project with you in mind. Every design decision, from layout and finishes to curated furniture, is considered in the context of how the space will be lived in, ensuring a result that’s uniquely personal and functional.

  • Our consultation is tailored to your needs. Whether you have a clear idea or are seeking collaborative inspiration, we will explore your vision, assess your space, and provide expert guidance. This is the foundation for a design that’s both functional and thoughtfully refined.

  • Absolutely. Whiteboard oversees every stage of the project, coordinating contractors, suppliers, and installers to ensure timelines, quality standards, and design integrity are maintained throughout.

  • Yes. Through our bespoke carpentry and fittings service, we design, source, and oversee the supply and installation of custom furniture and fittings, where every piece is curated to complement the architecture and enhance the living experience.

  • Project timelines vary depending on scope, scale, and bespoke requirements. During consultation, we provide a clear schedule tailored to your project, ensuring realistic expectations while maintaining quality and attention to detail.

  • Our fees depend on the scope and complexity of your home. We typically begin with a first consultation to define the project direction. Once we understand your layout, requirements, and preferred style, we are usually able to provide a clear quotation.

A good gauge would be within $90-$150/psf depending on the level of hacking and demolition required.

  • Ideally, reach out 3 to 4 months before key collection or whenever you’ve received your floor plan, whichever comes later. This gives us time to understand your needs, refine your layout and plans, as well as coordinate timelines before commencing renovation proper upon key collection—especially if you’re considering carpentry, built-ins, or items with longer lead times.

  • We generally work with our own trusted contractor partners to ensure quality, coordination, and accountability. If you prefer to appoint your own third-party specialists (e.g. smart home, aircon, lighting), we can still support the project. In such cases, we charge an additional coordination/attendance fee on top of the design fee, as our team will manage site alignment, sequencing, and on-site communication to keep the execution smooth.

  • If there are specific considerations that will shape how your space is planned or used, it’s helpful to share them as early as possible. Early clarity allows us to incorporate your requirements thoughtfully, ensuring the design process remains cohesive and efficient.

One example is feng shui. We recommend engaging your feng shui master early in the process. This allows us to integrate those requirements seamlessly into the design, rather than making adjustments later on.

  • To make the first meeting productive and allow us to advise more accurately from day one, it helps to have:

    • Your floor plan or unit listing layout, if available.

    • Reference images of styles you’re drawn to.

    • Practical needs (storage, work-from-home, kids/pets, hosting habits).

    • A rough timeline and budget range you’re comfortable sharing.

  • We’ll be in touch in the next 3 working days to schedule a consultation and follow up on our possible collaboration.
