Interior designer's thoughts

This Japandi-inspired 1-bedroom, studio apartment offers a sense of stillness and balance that contrasts the district’s energetic surroundings.

Pale oak flooring sets a soft foundation for the space, complemented by low-profile, Scandinavian-inspired furniture that keeps the interiors grounded and open. Specially selected fixtures and finishings add warmth and subtle character without disrupting the overall restraint.

The result is a quiet, considered home—minimal, tactile, and gently removed from the pace outside.

A dining room with a wooden table set with teacups, a teapot, a pitcher, and a vase with branches. There are four wooden chairs around the table, and a larger window or glass partition behind it. The room has a ceiling with a round paper lantern and recessed lighting.
A modern bedroom with a bed with white bedding and green pillows, separated by a wooden partition with built-in shelves holding decorative vases. There is a beige rug, a curtain, and a soft glowing lamp on a nightstand.
