Interior designer's thoughts

Built for a three-generation family with young children growing into their teenage years. This landed home underwent a light refurbishment focused on the foyer, dining, and bedroom areas–designed to support evolving needs in seating, storage, and sleeping capacity.

The original dim foyer is reimagined as a gallery-like corridor, now brightened with natural light and composed with sculptural vases and mirrored door panels that discreetly conceal generous shoe storage.

Further in, the dining area and bedroom thoughtfully reworked. Furniture is refreshed, layouts are adjusted, and the rooms made for more; more seating, more sleeping capacity, more moments shared between generations.

The result is a home that simply feels easier to live in as time goes on.
