Interior designer's thoughts

This three-bedroom apartment was furnished around the owner’s personal collection, allowing each piece to naturally shape the character of the home.

Large framed calligraphy works are placed with deliberate spacing throughout the space, their flowing black ink introducing rhythm and movement against pale, understated walls. Alongside them, scenic photographs of misty mountains and winding forest paths, rendered in monochrome and muted tones, extend the atmosphere of calm, bringing a quiet sense of the outdoors inward.

Together, these elements turn the apartment into a lived-in gallery, where art and everyday living sit comfortably within the same frame.

A minimalist dining room with beige chairs and a light wood dining table. There is a large round pendant light hanging above the table, and a vase with flowers on the table. The background features a shoji-style sliding door and built-in shelving with neutral decorative vases and bowls.
